About Journal

Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published by Badan Standar, Kurikulum, dan Asesmen Pendidikan – Kemendikburistek. Since 2024 Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan has been collaborating with Perhimpunan Periset Indonesia to publish its’ scholarly papers. Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan welcomes original research and study papers about education and culture related to education written by researchers, professionals, and practitioners.

Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan first edition was published in 1995 under the name of Jurnal Ilmiah Kajian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan with ISSN 0215-2673. In 1999 it became Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Other than its name, it also changed its frequency of publication, that is, bimonthly in 1999, quarterly in 2011, triannual in 2015, and biannual since 2017.

In 2016 it had new ISSN 2460-8300 and started the volume from one. In 2016 it also published in online version with ISSN 2528-4339.

Peer Review Process

Articles published on Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan have been reviewed by reviewers. Authors be fully responsible for the content. The review process for this journal applies double-blind peer review.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.

Every article submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan will not have any "Article Submission Charges".

Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Editorial Board.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan published an online version twice a year, in June and December.

Copy Editing and Proofreading

The Copy Editing and Proofreading process of each accepted article uses an additional tool GrammarlyÂ® writing-enhancement program conducted by the Editorial Board of Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kebudaaan.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
